  1. i wanna say though, if you're big- as in over 200/300+ lbs, you can easily lose 30lbs in the first month just from a calorie deficit. it doesn't mean you're starving yourself or being unrealistic. the cons to that, inc losing the rest of the weight faster, is that it can be more likely that you'll gain it back slightly faster although MANY people have lost weight fast and have maintained for years and years now. as a big girl myself, i know i can lose a fair bit of weight without exercising purely bc im on the bigger side. to begin with, it can be a lot of water weight, but if you just keep going, you'll see the fat shed off whether you slow down or stay at a 'fast' pace. just be safe and healthy.

This is such an amazing advice, for some reason i’ve never thought of this, i’ve put these unrealistic goals of wanting to lose 33 pounds a month, it felt like a strong sense of pressure making me less hopeful since every month when I begin my diet i lose 2 pounds or half a week, it stressed me out!, but the idea of taking it slow like that gave me relief of knowing that it’s possible!
